during Your Inspection

Whether you’re buying, selling, or maintaining your home, you need a quality inspection that reveals the true condition of the property. At Palmetto Moon Inspections, we follow InterNACHI’s Standards of Practice – that means we’re looking for visible defects and safety concerns, not moving furniture or taking anything apart. The inspection typically takes 2-4 hours, depending on the home’s size and age, and yes – you’re welcome to tag along.

AFTER YOUR INSPECTION

Once the on-site inspection wraps up, you’ll receive your full digital report within 24 hours. It includes descriptions of what we inspected, photos of any issues we found, and recommendations for next steps. Everything’s organized by system, so it’s easy to navigate and easy to share with your agent, lender, or contractor. If you have any questions after you review it, just reach out – we’re happy to walk you through it.

Structural Systems: Foundations, grading and drainage, basements, walkways, and floor, wall, and ceiling structures.
Roofing: Roof coverings, drainage systems, flashings and skylights, chimneys, and other roof penetrations.
Electrical Systems: Service entrance and panels, brand circuits, connected devices and fixtures, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and GFCI-protected outlets.
Plumbing: Fixtures and faucets, water supply systems, drain, waste and vent systems, water heater, flues and chimneys, and sump pumps or fuel storage and distribution systems.
Heating, Vents, HVAC: Heating equipment, cooling systems, ducts, vents and flues.
Built-In Appliances: Dishwasher, garbage disposal, range hood, range or oven, cooktop, microwave, trash compactor, bathroom exhaust fans, garage door operator, and other built-in appliances.
